A 'SitRep'
Currently a Level 2 brigade, the Tamborine Rural Fire Brigade finds itself looking after a community largely at the mercy of urbanisation through ongoing residential development. This trend to seek an acreage lifestyle has led to a change in the overall perception of a rural brigade and what it does. Training nights are every Tuesday except the first Tuesday of the month (Monthly meeting). Our "fleet" consists of Unit 41 - Nissan Patrol Striker appliance Unit 42 - Nissan Patrol Striker appliance Unit 43 - Toyota Landcruiser Striker appliance Unit 51 - Mitsubishi canter Medium Tanker (1500 litres) We also have access to "Tango Bike" when required.
